3 Quit Smoking Tips to Help you Quit Smoking for Good!

One can never have too many tips at their disposal when looking to cut back on their smoking habit. In speaking to a friend of mine the other day I was able to glean a few tips of his that helped him kick the habit. Try them out and see if they work for you.
Quit Smoking Tip #1 - Don’t carry a full pack of cigarettes to work
When you have a lot of cigarettes at your disposal to smoke, you will tend to smoke more of them. A simple way to prevent yourself from smoking too much is to bring a pack to work which has only 1-3 cigarettes. This way you are limited to only these cigarettes and will not over-indulge yourself. Of course you can break down and ask for a cigarette off a friend, or go to the store to buy another pack, but if you’re serious about stopping implementing this will definitely help you.
Quit Smoking Tip #2 - When you get a craving, EAT Instead
One way of getting over one habit is to occupy yourself with another. An example of this would be eating. Now, this may result in you putting on a little more weight, so be sure you choose some healthy snacks.
Quit Smoking Tip #3 - Drink Coffee in place of a cigarette
Many people all over the world make a habit out of frequenting Starbucks, the entire nation is quite addicted to it’s coffee. Being the lesser of two evils, you can try opting for a cup of coffee in place of your usual smoke. It will give you a different type of buzz, but it will distract you from your cravings.
Now these tips will help you out some but unless you have a solid plan of action as well as some encouragement along the way, you’re not likely to make it far.
